So now we must reflect on her 7th month... Where to begin? I'll try to keep it short and show you lots of fun pics.
She weighs just under 19lbs and is working on her 6th tooth! She has always been a spunky little lady but lately, she has been QUITE the spirited soul. She lets her presence be known wherever we go and even when we are home, she is constantly verbalizing... yelling and squealing to be more exact... Not crying - Just hearing herself. It's been an interesting phase and has definitely tested our tolerance levels at times. We've decided that she gets over-stimulated easily so the calmer the environment, the calmer she is (sounds like she got yet another trait from her mommy). So we took her big, loud toy out of her play area and try to keep the house quiet and calm as much as possible (tv volume, toys, etc) and that seems to really help a lot. When she gets up from naps, I'll even whisper to her while I change her diaper and get ready to start playing and that really seems to help also.
She loves to be out and about... Shopping is one of her favorite things to do because she gets to ride around in the cart and play with everyone and everything. People are constantly stopping to say "hi" to her. She smiles constantly and is really starting to laugh a lot now. Crawling and pulling up is second nature now and I really think that she'll be standing on her own very soon, which will probably lead to walking shortly after. So stay tuned for next month's update to see if March brings any of that our way. She is growing and advancing SO fast... We swear she is more like a toddler than she is a baby now.

Then... the weather was beautiful for 2 days and over a weekend so we took FULL advantage!! We took her to the park for her first picnic and swing ride... Weeeeeee! She loved crawling around in the grass for the first time (it's been snowy winter since she's been able to crawl and explore!).

Our friend, Tracy, came into town and Ryley and I were able to meet her for some coffee and had a great time! She looooooves Tracy... was comfortable with her instantly! So cute.

The coolest part about her dedication is the church sang the song Jody wrote for Ryley before she was even born while the babies were being dedicated. It was SO special and I know that someday she will be touched and appreciate how special that really is and what a special man her Daddy is... But most importantly, how very much her daddy loves his little girl.
I am going to be posting the song this week and I will send it to you guys when I do.
We made a vow to always make sure Ryley knows and loves and keeps Jesus in her heart. We thank Him every single day for the light she is and that she brings to our lives. She is such a special little angel. Our lives are forever full because she is a part of them now. We thank you and are so blessed that you are in our lives, too and we can share our joy with you.
